cGrate allows Telcos to expand their existing services like SMS, and USSD for provision of more Telco related value added services like subscriber airtime transfers, retrieval of network related settings. These added services can reduce the average number of call-centre queries. The opening up of links to content providers into the Telcos opens up new channels for more revenue. This means more revenue from content like bulk sms-s sent by the content providers.
cGrate also provides one key component which can increase revenue for the Telcos, the PCM manager. The PCM manager is a value added service which increases the average number of calls made by the mobile subscribers, and its advertising functionality is a good source of revenue. In order for Telcos to use this component, they can engage into a partnership with cGrate which can lead to sharing of advertising revenue or the Telco purchasing the component. If the Telco purchases the PCM manager license, the Telco will have complete control over the advertising rights and all revenue related to PCMs
